Paratype

Paratype is a post apocalyptic role-playing game taking place in a world filled with giant mutant insects and humans able to hybridize themselves to gain strange new abilities to survive their ever changing world. Paratype is a 54 page game book that runs best with 3-5 players and utilizes it's own ga me system for a new take on the genre.

"The world ended long ago. It doesn’t matter how; pollution, nuclear fallout or some cataclysmic event, no one really knows. What they do know is that it didn’t take long for the bugs to show up. Giant insects terrorize what remains of humanity, leaving survivors scrounging for what little resources they can get.

For most, life in the wasteland has become fast, dangerous and insectile. Thanks to science, some individuals have even found a way to splice their DNA with that of these mutant invertebrates to develop strange new adaptations of their own. These hybrids are humanity's newest area and last hope.

Now all that’s left is to survive."
